The drivers and the guides will pick you up at Lhasa Station or airport, and then drive along the Lhasa River Scenic Area to Lhasa city to experience the pure air of the plateau. After arriving in Lhasa, you will stay in the hotel booked by us. We suggest that you may avoid going out as much as possible after arriving in Lhasa, and take a good rest in order to adapt to the plateau reaction.
Tips: Lhasa is 3,650 meters above sea level, the oxygen content is only 70% of the mainland. For the first 2 days most guests will have different degrees of plateau reaction. The best way to prevent plateau reaction is to keep a normal attitude, drink enough water, eat some fruits and have good rest.
From Lhasa, you will travel to Basomtso Lake, and travel east along the Niyang River. After crossing the 5013 meter Mira Pass, you will be driven to Nyingchi, the southern part of Tibet, at an altitude of only 2800 meters. Along the way, the scenery is beautiful and the Tibetan villages present their own unique characteristics and fascinating landscapes. You can stop to take photos.
In the afternoon, you will visit the most beautiful lake in Tibet, the so-called Little Switzerland, surrounded by snow-capped mountains and forests - Basomtso. Visit the small island at the center of the lake and enjoy the view of the lake and mountains from the fence.
Afterwards, drive to Nyingchi, the Tibetan word for “throne of the sun”. Along the way, enjoy the scenery of the Niyang River valley, virgin forests, and feel the true beauty of the mountains.
Wake up early and travel 100 kilometers from Nyingchi to Lulang in about 2 hours. On the way, you will cross the Segrila Pass at an altitude of 4,515 meters, enjoy the colorful forests of Sedera along the way, and also have a distant view of the Nyingchi County. When you reach the pass, it is the best place to see Namcha Barwa Peak from afar. It is also the best place to take pictures of Namcha Barwa Peak.
Arrive at Bomi in the afternoon and visit Midui Glacier.
Midu Glacier is located near the villages of Mimei and Midu in Yupu Township, Bomi County, Nyigchi Region. It is only 8 kilometers away from National Highway 318, making it very easy to arrive. Due to the low elevation of the ice tongue, it can be easily viewed up close. Midui Glacier shape handsome, by the “China National Geographic” rated as one of the six more beautiful glaciers.
In order to view the Migdui Glacier, the first step is to reach Migdui Village at the foot of the glacier. The ticket office is about 6-7 kilometers away from the village. This section of road is in very poor condition, small cars are not recommended to drive in, you need to have a car with a higher chassis to drive. You can walk from Midu Village to the viewing platform, but the distance is longer, about 2.5 kilometers, and it takes about 45 minutes. Horseback riding is also possible, and you will need to pay about 100 RMB for a round trip. Once you reach the viewing platform, you can see the open glacier unfolding in front of you, which is very spectacular.
Ranwu Lake is surrounded by a large meadow of turquoise grass. It is covered with brightly colored wolfsbane flowers, forming a beautiful landscape with the blue lake and snow-capped mountains. Depending on the season, the lake water is either blue or green in color. Many rocks and small islands dot the landscape. The lake is full of trees in spring and summer, and mists in fall and winter, making it a picturesque place in all seasons.
After breakfast, we’ll set off to Laigu Glacier. The multiple glaciers surrounding Laigu Village have formed several ice lakes in front of the village. Due to the different geology and soil composition where different glaciers are located, each glacial lake reflects a different color. One of the glacial lakes also has large and small icebergs floating on it. Between the end of the glacier and the glacial lake, the broken glacier reveals ten meters high blue and ghostly ice.
Being in Laigu Village, you can see the Meixi Glacier, Yalong Glacier, Ruojiao Glacier, Dongga Glacier, Xiongjia Glacier and Niu Ma Glacier. Because all these glaciers surround Laigu Village, they are collectively known as Laigu Glacier (Note: Glaciers change because of the four seasons. Each glacier viewing period is different, different time to visit the scenery seen different).
Which is generated in the east end of the Gangzhigabu mountain up to 12 kilometers long Yalong glacier is the most majestic. It extends from the main peak, which is more than 6,000 meters above sea level, to the side of Laikou Village, which is about 4,000 meters above sea level.

Lulang in Tibetan means “Dragon King Valley”, is located in the Tibet Nyingchi region Nyingchi County, known as “Switzerland in the snow”. It is about 80 kilometers away from Bayi Town on the Sichuan-Tibet Highway, and is located in the deep forests, known as “Tibet Jiangnan”.
After breakfast, we will go to the primitive forest - Kading Ditch Tianfo Waterfalls, which means “Heaven on Earth”. 24 kilometers from Bayi Township, the Niyang River in the Kading water, is a typical canyon landscape. There are high mountains and deep ditches, strange peaks and rocks, ancient trees. The waterfall with a drop of nearly 200 meters flows straight down, majestic and spectacular. In the waterfall, there is a naturally formed Buddha with a kind face, which gives the waterfall its name. There are naturally formed Buddha statues and guardians on the rock walls, and the virgin forests in the gully are densely covered with the beautiful legend of being one and the same with Tibetan Buddhism. After the tour, drive along the original road back to Lhasa.
In the morning, we depart from Lhasa and drive to one of the three sacred lakes in Tibet - Yamdrok Yonchoe, which is the highest freshwater lake in the world, with an altitude of 4,441 meters. Yamdrok Lake is the highest freshwater lake in the world, with an elevation of 4,441 meters above sea level. It is called “Jasper Lake” in Tibetan. After that, we will go down the mountain to get close to Yamdrok Yungchu. The blue water of the lake and the snow-capped mountains in the distance, together with the colorful mountains on both sides of the lake, the distinctive Tibetan villages, and the cows and sheep everywhere, will make you feel calm and relaxed.
In the morning, you will visit the Potala Palace, the highest ancient fortress-like complex in the world. It is the residence of the Dalai Lamas and the center of political and religious power in Tibet. It houses the golden stupa of the Dalai Lamas and a large number of precious murals, thangkas and statues, which is a concentrated manifestation of Tibetan culture.
After lunch, you can visit the earliest Buddhist temple built during the Tubo Dynasty -Jokhang Temple. The temple enshrines the twelve-year-old statue of Sakyamuni that accompanied Princess Wencheng into Tibet, which is the most sacred and spiritual statue in the hearts of the Tibetan people. Visitors can not only see the devotion of the locals, but also pray for all living beings by circling around the Barkhor Street together.
Tips: Remember to take off your hat and sunglasses when entering a monastery in Tibet. Don't smoke, touch Buddha statues, turn over scriptures, or ring bells and drums. For other Buddhist artifacts, such as Buddha beads and talismans, you should not touch them casually. Some temples do not allow photographs to be taken, so you should observe these rules.
The enjoyable trip to Tibet is over. Breakfast is provided at the hotel. We will send the guests to the airport or train station according to the way they return to their cozy home.
