Lhasa city center(Potala Palace+Jokhang Temple+Bharkor Street)

In the morning, we'll visit the Potala Palace, the world's highest ancient palace-style complex, which served as the residence of Dalai Lamas and the epicenter of political and religious authority in Tibet. Before reaching the Potala Palace, you'll need to ascend over 1080 steps. While the climb might be a bit taxing, the breathtaking views overlooking the entire city of Lhasa will make you forget any fatigue! In the afternoon, we'll explore the sacred Jokhang Temple, revered by Tibetan Buddhists. This architectural masterpiece blends Tibetan, Tang, Nepalese, and Indian styles, standing as a timeless symbol of Tibetan religious architecture. After our visit to the Jokhang Temple, you can leisurely stroll around it in a clockwise direction, browse the handicraft market on Barkhor Street, or simply wander the streets, basking in the warmth of the Sunlight City. Alternatively, you can find a charming tea house and immerse yourself in the leisurely lifestyle of Tibetan friends.

【Reminder】Potala Palace tickets are available through advance booking only, and there are time restrictions for visits. Lhasa-Basomtso--Nyingchi

Travel by car from Lhasa to Basomtso Lake, located in Gongbujiangda County. Along the way, you'll travel east along the Nyang River, cross the 5013-meter Mila Mountain Pass, and descend to the southern Linzhi area of Tibet, with an altitude of only 2800 meters. The scenery along the way is beautiful, with Tibetan villages showcasing their unique characteristics and charming landscapes. There will be opportunities to stop and take photos. In the afternoon, visit Basong Lake, known as the "Little Switzerland" surrounded by beautiful lakes,snow-capped mountains, and forests. You can explore the small island in the middle of the lake and admire the picturesque scenery of Basong Lake from the railing. Afterward, drive to Nyingchi, which is called the "Throne of the Sun" in Tibetan. Along the way, you'll enjoy the scenery of the Nyang River Valley and pristine forests, experiencing the true beauty of mountains and rivers.

Nyingchi-Mount Namcha Barwa-Lulang Forest-Nyingchi

Early in the morning, depart from Nyingchi to Lulang, approximately 100 kilometers away, with a journey of 2 hours. Along the way, cross the 4515-meter-high Segrila Mountain, enjoying the colorful forests of Segrila and distant views of Nyingchi County. Upon reaching the mountain pass, it offers an excellent vantage point to gaze upon the majestic Namcha Barwa Peak, making it the best location for capturing photographs of the peak. After visiting, head to Lulang Forest, where "Lulang" in Tibetan means the place where gods reside. It's like a paradise. Afterwards, descend to Lulang Pasture. The mountains are covered in pristine forests, while at the foot of the mountains lie highland pastures dotted with cattle and sheep. At noon, you can also taste the local specialty, Lulang Stone Pot Chicken. Then return to Nyingchi.

Nyingchi—Kadinggou Waterfall—Lhasa

After breakfast, head to the primitive forest known as Kadanggou Waterfall, which translates to "Heavenly Buddha Waterfall." It features typical gorge landscapes, with towering mountains and deep valleys. Ancient trees dot the area, and the waterfall cascades nearly 200 meters down, forming a benevolent natural face resembling a Buddha, hence the name "Heavenly Buddha Waterfall." After the visit, drive back to Lhasa along the same route.

Lhasa-Yamdrok-Karola Glacier--Shigatse

Passing by the green farmland of Nyangchu Valley, Yamdro-tso lakes, karo-la glacier roadside at 4960m, We move westwards to the second biggest city Shigatse, the Area spiritually hosted by Pamchan Lama. The most important attraction for today is Yamdro-tso Lake and Kubum monastery in Gyantse. Yamdro-tso Lake is shaped like coiling scorpion with deep blue in colour and Kubum monastery has a 35m-high chorten (stupa) with its white layers trimmed with decorative stripes and its crown-like golden dome.

Shigatse—Tingri—EBC

Drive westwards the Friendship way to Tingri. There is about 90km bumpy road from Tingri to Rongpuk, road is under construction. From Tingri to E.B.C with the very rough road, pass the wild grassland, cross the rapids river and high mountains. If it is in clear whether, you can have a glimpse of 4 mountains which is 8000m high or more, such as: Mt. Lhotse(8516m), Mt. Everes(8848m), Mt. Qowowuyag(8201m), Mt Mayalu(8463m)

EBC—Tingri—Shigatse

Early in the moring to see the sunrise from Rongphu then to view Mt. Everest. It is fabulous and splendid.After walking arrive the place get on the local bus then use half of an hour arrive at Everest Base camp (Or you also can trekking to Base Camp around 1 . 5 - 2 hours one way. It' s interesting and much more warm, but hard to breath). Hiking up to the top of the photo point to take pictures of the splendid- Mt. Everest. Then late in the afternoon around 13:00 go down from E.B .C back to Tingri by friend-ship highway back to Shigaste.

Shigatse-Tashilunpo Monastery-Tibetan Family Visit-Lhasa

Before spending about 4 hours to drive back to Lhasa from Shigatse, we will visit the largest Monastery in west Tibet, the Tashilunpo monastery, as the last but famous historic sites for your Tibet tour. Tashilunpo monastery is one of the the six great Gelukpa institutions and was founded in 14 4 7 by a disciple of Tsongkapa, containing the world' s largest gilded copper image(2 6 m high) of future god Jampa. Drive along the Friend-ship Highway back to Lhasa.

Lhasa—Namtso—Northern Tibet Grassland—Lhasa

In the early morning, drive through the vast grasslands of northern Tibet, where you can witness colorful prayer flags fluttering in the wind and gallop along the Qinghai-Tibet Highway. Cross the 5190-meter high Nagela Mountain Pass and arrive at the first of Tibet's three sacred lakes, the "Heavenly Lake" Namtso, at an altitude of 47 18 meters. Namtso Lake is the highest saltwater lake in the world and the second largest in China. In the evening, return to Lhasa accompanied by the glow of the setting sun.

Leave Lhasa, airport or train station drop off

Full-board cost: Since this tour is a group tour and the dining environment along the way may not be ideal, meals are not included (except for breakfast at the hotel; guesthouses do not include breakfast). Participants are responsible for their own meals, which typically range from 30 to 60 yuan per person per meal. Our guide will assist you in finding the best dining options suited to your preferences.
  2. Round-trip transportation: Transportation from the departure location to Lhasa and back is not included (booking service provided).
  3. Personal expenses: These include expenses such as hotel laundry fees, telephone charges, excess baggage fees, beverages during meals, and optional activities such as the Yangpachen hot spring (30-60 yuan), horseback riding at Namtso Lake, and boat rides at Basong Lake.
  4. Other expenses: Any additional costs incurred due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, strikes, wars, flight delays or cancellations, visa delays, etc.
  5. Tipping for Foreign Visitors: :Each person must pay a tip of no less than 30 yuan to the driver and no less than 30 yuan to the guide per day.
